L'Osservatore Romano

This week our community received a pleasant surprise as we discovered that the seminarians of our house of formation in the Philippines were pictured in an issue of the Vatican's official newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, dedicated to the religious life. Pictured in the center-spread of the international newspaper, were our Filipino students standing in front of the statue of our founder, St. Francis Caracciolo. We were delighted upon seeing this picture of our brothers, and hope and pray its publication in the Vatican newspaper inspires us all to pray for vocations to the religious life, particularly to our Order of the Clerics Regular Minor.

Let it snow!!!

Today our seminarians were treated with not only a day off from school, but also a day of fun in the snow! For Brs. Noly and Giovannie, who arrived last August from the Philippines, this was one of their first experiences of snow. An excited Br. Gio was heard asking, "Is that manna!?!" upon catching sight of the white flakes falling from the heavens.
